The Data Discovery group aims to provide a data discovery system that facilitates locating relevant data among thousands of data sources. With thousands of data sources spread across disparate databases and files analysts often spend more time searching for and identifying relevant data to answer the questions at hand than analyzing it. With the data discovery system the group wants to simplify the process of finding relevant data minimizing an analyst’s time searching for data.

I’m a course 6 senior interested in learning more about database internals. Through my SuperUROP project I hope to solve and gain more exposure to modern data problems.
