Research tackling a subset of diesel-hydrogen dual-fuel injector design for heavy-duty vehicles. Primary scientific objective involves investigation of nozzle spray characteristics from a geometric standpoint. Fabrication of a modular testing rig featuring swappable tips, developed in parallel with the direct supervisor’s broader injector assembly.
My amazing direct supervisor made the choice a no-brainer! She made it clear that a SuperUROP would enable me to take my research to the ‘next level’ and dig deeper into my interests.
